Description

Woven around 1900 in the Caucasus. Pile is thin, the brown “star” design in the center has corroded (commonly used corrosive brown dye from this era) and shows foundation. There is a small, faint stain located in the interior gold colored guard border at the top end of field. Pretty light blue field color. Sides and ends are secure.  A pleasant small Caucasian rug at a reasonable price. $550
