Probably by the Qasghai tribe, with rich shiny wool both for foundation and the pile. All natural dyes, with a typical design from this area that includes colorful stripes,
alternating ivory and navy rectangles at the ends, and many animal and bird figures. The size is 4’1×6’4. Condition is good for the age, which is from around 1900. Some wear with
foundation threads showing in a few areas. A soft , pliable rug, that folds like a blanket.
